After finishing my reflection for the latest update to Qualdrin, I realized I wanted to go into more depth about issues and philosophies involving the game.

Cue the new blog category: Deep Reflections! During these times I will explain the deeper reasoning to decisions in my games. Who knows, maybe this will extend to deep reflections of other games and areas as well.

In any case, let's begin our decent and go deeper...

If you already checked out my About Website and Who is Gerald? pages, you should know that my website is about sharing my work, which I feel it has done a good job of so far. However, it's currently not suitable to tell the whole story; project development, the man (and team) behind them, how new iterations build upon the last, etc.

This blog section will be a place where I can do all of those things and more. As stated in my future plans (in the past... here in the present... which will become that past?) I wanted to "implement new ways to have viewers interact with me and my work". While using blog comments isn't revolutionary, it's a step in the right direction.

So stay tuned. There will be a long overdue revamp of Jupitelite uploaded in the near future.
